The Free Trade Agreement between the Government of Republic of Chile and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was signed on November 11th, 2011 and came into effect on January 1st, 2014. This FTA contains only commitments on goods and goods-related matters, there are no commitments on services and investment. Such FTA is the very first FTA between Vietnam and a South American country.
